The tech industry is a field that has been growing rapidly since the invention of the first computers, initially the industry was kind of limited and still in its primitive stage trying to find it’s break through due to limited resources and founding from the government at that time, but after the first world war, countries around the world began to look into the idea of harnessing the power of machines for grater efficiency in battles, but even at that there was still little breakthroughs compered to that of during and post-world war 2 era.

The onset of the second world war lead to the greatest increase in funding the tech industries during that time, countries with more advanced technologies become of higher advantage than their opponents during the war. Both the allies and axis sides continued to punch above the bag to make breakthroughs for the benefits of their respective nations, this led to the inventions of several computers, like those used to design missile or others used for decoding enemies encrypted messages.

When this countries began to use and harness the power of computers and applying them for their better advantages against their enemies, this lead to the greatest impact the world of technology when compared to other wars, although most advancement made during the war were more of upgrades to existing techs and revolved mostly around military techs,

such as weaponry, communication, rockets, logistics and many more, some of this progress made during such time has made a lot of meaningful impact, and went far beyond their application in the military to be applied and used in businesses, schools and many more, to an extent they are now used and applicable in almost every share of human lives.

Post the war, the tech industry grew steadily and rapidly, evolving from million to trillion-dollar companies, it became so successful that it no longer relied on government funds to carry out their research, works and make progress, a lot of tech giants like Facebook and spaceX are now richer than some countries.

In as much as the industry has continues to grow at a very rapid rate, it is certain that there will hardly be any slowing down, not in the next 100 years maybe, and there is no doubt the future of the industry is certainly based on artificial intelligence and robotics, this has proven to be very certain with the current events on ground.

Unlike other tech sectors that were been funded as early as the 17th century, the AI wasn’t, not until the mid-1950s. As surprising as it may sound, the idea of AI dates far back to the time when early philosophers were diving into the concept and idea of the existence of mechanical beings. This concept couldn’t go far beyond the brains of man at that time, but as time went by and with the invention of machines that a capable of carrying tasks better than the human, the concept of ai was beginning to mold into reality.

The invention of a very advanced programmable digital computer Atanasoff Berry computer(ABC) by John Vincent Atanasoff(1903-1995) and his graduate student Clifford berry(1918-1963) in 1942, lead to the further inspiration of artificial intelligence during that time, other computers that also made a difference in the ai world were the z3 computer by Konrad zuse and colossus computer.

All this has proven that the ai machines might certainly replace the human force in a lot of working sectors, be it health, education or even the science and tech industry itself as machines capable if coding are believed to take over from the human programmers in the future.
